Where Is Our Beloved Community? – Wabash Theater

Wabash Theater presents an original, devised production: Where is Our Beloved Community?

The play is devised from stories of racialized minority members of our campus community; students, staff, faculty and alumni. From recorded interviews gathered this year, the performers create an original piece of art that offers a glimpse into the experiences of the interviewees who graciously and vulnerably participated. To quote a cast member, “They bravely told their stories, so we must bravely share them.”

Performers: Dario Banuelos, Malik Barnes, Robert Borland, Josh Campbell, Chenel Darby, Alba de la Cruz Gonzalez Vasquez, Khoi Truong, Alex Rotaru, Jamari Washington, Elijah Weddington, and K’tren Wilson.

Student designers: Ace Dzurovcik (sound) and Sammy Lebron (projections).

Stage Manager/Assistant Director: Sebastian Wang

Performance Recorded 20 April 2022
