In response to the recent events, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they conducted airstrikes in Gaza overnight, targeting more than 100 terrorist sites. These strikes resulted in the elimination of a senior figure in the Hamas naval forces, who had participated in the October 7 attacks on communities near Gaza. Additionally, the IDF successfully thwarted a terrorist squad planning to fire missiles at an aircraft through a targeted strike.
The airstrikes were effective in destroying tunnel shafts, munitions warehouses, and numerous operational headquarters. Furthermore, a mosque in Gaza’s Jabaliya neighborhood, which had been used as an observation post and gathering point for Hamas personnel, also had its terror infrastructure and weapons destroyed.
