Pretty good espresso machine using Peet’s original pods. I have yet to make espresso using my own coffee beans which is more of the reason why I bought this machine. It is quite loud when it makes the espresso. I like the feature of making 2 different sizes of coffee. It does make crema. Great price when it’s on sale. For the sale price, it’s worth it if you can’t afford the more expensive one using Vertuo pods.
I ordered this unit and received it right around Christmas. Since then, I’ve probably put about 25 capsules through, and have used the inserts for grounds about 6 times. I used Cafe Bustelo, and it turned out great every time. If you are in the market for a Nespresso capsule machine, I highly recommend this little machine.
It’s by far less expensive than nearly every Nespresso unit, and you can use your own grounds if need be. Also, it’s super compact and fits at my desk perfectly. I do have to say it’s a little loud but not bothersome.
