Have you watched Love on the Spectrum? For a while, I held off because I worried it would feel exploitative. But when friends kept raving about it, I watched and realized that it’s actually really beautiful. The producers treat the cast members with so much respect — they’re never the punchline — and their families are full of love. I was really moved. This scene (click to watch) — where Connor, 26, tells his mom he doesn’t want a life of fame like Princess Diana — is a sweet example.
This fall, I’ve been spotting leopard print on women ev-er-y-where, and it feels like a cool neutral with jeans and a red lip. Four easy pieces: shirt, sweater, flats, sneakers.
When I called him last night, Freddie was in the middle of making Melissa Clark’s harvest muffins for his kids. “She said they never come back home in the lunchbox,” he told me. “They’re really good and moist.” Inspired, the boys and I are going to make a batch for back-to-school breakfasts.
As someone who slips quietly out of parties, and will die on that hill, I smiled when I saw this trinket tray.
P.S. More fun things, and what are your random turn-ons?
