Polish female Muay Thai sensation Martyna Dominczak says she has something special up her sleeve for ONE women’s atomweight kickboxing world champion ‘The Queen’ Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom.
The two battle in a three-round atomweight kickboxing bout at ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Prime Video this weekend.
Dominczak is currently 3-1 in ONE Championship, but is riding an impressive two-fight winning streak over top opposition. A victory over Phetjeeja could earn her the world title shot she craves.

The 23-year-old Legion Glogow representative recently caught up with the world’s largest martial arts organization to talk about her next fight. Dominczak says Phetjeeja isn’t ready for the storm she brings to the ring:
“I think Phetjeeja has many great sides. She has great boxing, kickboxing, good footwork, but she has never fought against someone like me, I think. With my husband, we were watching almost every one of her fights on YouTube because we are always watching my opponents to prepare our tactics. She has never fought with someone like me. I’m also fast.”
ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Prime Video will go down live in U.S. primetime on Friday, Dec. 5, and will take place at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. North American fans can watch the event free of charge with Amazon Prime Video.
Martyna Dominczak on getting married to her trainer/coach
Martyna Dominczak changed her last name from Kierczynska to Dominczak after marrying her longtime trainer and coach Maciej last September. Now, the two are building towards a ONE world title.
Dominczak gets the opportunity to strengthen her case for a shot at the gold by taking on ‘The Queen’ Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom at ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Prime Video this weekend.
The 23-year-old talked to ONE about her relationship with her husband:
“We got married, just the two of us, without any family or friends, in a beautiful, breathtaking place near Sveti Stefan. It’s a very popular place in Montenegro. It was awesome. We enjoyed the time together. It was a really perfect day.”
She added:
“He’s perfect for me because the main thing is that we have a common goal. We have a common passion in life and a common goal. Both of us are looking in the same direction.”
