Dr. K S Iyer India is recognized as a pioneer in pediatric heart care. He initiated the first dedicated paediatric cardiac care program in Northern India at Escorts Heart Institute Research Centre (now Fortis-Escorts Heart Institute) in 1995. Under his leadership, the program set new benchmarks in children’s heart treatment across India and South East Asia. Dr. K S Iyer Paediatric Cardiac Surgeon has performed more than 10,000 complex surgeries, including arterial switch procedures, TAPVC repairs, double switch operations, tetralogy of Fallot corrections, Fontan procedures, Truncus and DORV repairs.
