Perez Hilton reacts after Brooklyn Beckham’s ex Hana Cross claims Beckham family caused her a “lot of anxiety”
Brooklyn Beckham’s ex-girlfriend, Hana Cross, has backed him over his allegations against his parents and his family. She said that her experience with them caused her a “lot of anxiety,” but she hoped they could reconcile.
Earlier this year, Brooklyn Beckham shared a statement on Instagram regarding his relationship with his parents, Victoria and David Beckham. He alleged that there was a rift between him and his family after his wedding to Nicola Peltz in 2022. He even added that he doesn’t want to reconcile with his parents.
This has led to some recent reports about Brooklyn’s ex-girlfriend, Hana Cross, as well. Some rumors claim that she was asked to sign an NDA when she dated him between 2018 and 2019. In an interview with Hello! Magazine, published on April 12, she denied these rumors.
Cross, however, shared her experience with the Beckham family and backed Brooklyn Beckham’s comments, saying:
“My time with the family caused me a lot of anxiety, in all honesty. There were a lot of warning signs and things that happened during the relationship that, in hindsight, should have made me think and maybe end the relationship or walk away from it a lot sooner than I did.”
“But I was only 20, 21 when we dated, and I had just started modelling, and I came from living on a farm to moving to London and being thrown into a relationship like that. It’s hard to know what’s best to do in that situation. No one really knew, and I didn’t, really. It wasn’t something that I was super-open about, so advice from outside was hard to take,” she added.
Blogger Perez Hilton reacted to this statement on his website and wrote:
“Jeez, that doesn’t sound good! … It’s certainly interesting to hear her perspective on the fam!”
Hana Cross asserted that the Beckham family had “never pressured” her into not speaking about her relationship with Brooklyn or his family. She also expressed her surprise at the 27-year-old making the statement in the first place.
Hana Cross hopes Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz reconcile with the Beckham family
In his statement, Brooklyn Beckham made it clear that he has no intention of reconciling with his parents. He added that he only wants peace and accused his parents of using the media to disturb it.
Hana Cross, meanwhile, didn’t speak much about their family dynamic, but hoped that they could reconcile, saying:
“In terms of reconciling, I hope that they do, purely because they’re a family and I think family is extremely important. I’m sure that whatever happens can be healed over time. That’s all I can really say on that.”
Cross added that she hasn’t really spoken about Brooklyn Beckham since their breakup. However, she added that with a lot of media attention and her name being brought up, she felt it necessary to make a statement.
She also added that “nobody knows what’s going on behind closed doors”, explaining that she hasn’t met Brooklyn Beckham since their breakup.
