Al Shabab and Al Nassr will battle for three points in a Saudi Pro League matchday 32 clash on Thursday (May 7th). The game will be played at Al-Shabab Club Stadium.
The home side will be looking to bounce back from the 5-1 thrashing they were handed by Al Taawon at the same venue over the weekend. They took the lead through Abderrazak Hamdallah’s goal midway through the first half. Mohammed Al Kuwaykibi and Roger Martinez Tobinson scored to put the visitors 2-1 up at the break. Angelo Fulgini made it 3-1 four minutes into the second half, Tobinson completed his brace four minutes later while Mohammed Al Shwirekh completed the rout late on. Yannick Carrasco missed an 85th-minute penalty for the hosts.
Thanks for the submission!
Nassr, meanwhile, fell to a 3-1 defeat away to Al Qadsiah. They went behind to Mohammed Abu Al Shamat’s 24th-minute strike while Joao Felix equalized in the 39th minute. Musab Al Juwayr and Julian Quinones scored second-half goals to secure the win for their side.
The Big Yellow remained at the summit of the standings despite the loss, having garnered 79 points from 31 games. Shabab are 13th on 32 points.

Al Shabab vs Al Nassr Prediction
Al Shabab need just one point from three games to guarantee their survival. However, their vastly superior goal difference to 16th-placed Al Riyadh means they have ostensibly secured their spot in the top flight for at least another season.
Al Nassr were seemingly cruising to the league title but their loss to Al Qadsiah has opened up a slim window of opportunity for second-placed Al Hilal. Al Nassr still hold a five-point advantage, having played a game more, and have their destiny in their hands. The title is likely to be decided by the make-or-break visit of the Blue Wave next week.
We expect the visitors to claim a comfortable victory with goals at both ends.
Prediction: Al Shabab 1-3 Al Nassr
